What is TEM ?

Therapeutic Energy Medicine (TEM) is Dawn Woodring’s Energy Psychology (EP) office in the Select Wellness Center of Wauseon OH. Dawn is a licensed counselor who uses a variety of tools in her practice including Healing Touch, Emotional Freedom Technique (aka Tapping), Brainspotting and Therapeutic Presence.

Work in this office is of an Existential-Humanist, Transpersonal and Somatic Psychology framework. Here are some of the foundations. Do they resonate with you?

Dawn grew up in Fulton county then traveled and lived throughout the US before returning to NWO to care for her elderly mother. In her journeys she studied and explored many avenues for fulfilling her vision of helping people have more wonder-filled lives where they wake up smiling and excited to see what the day has in store.

She holds a BA in Psychology from Tulane University, and a Masters in Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe. Dawn is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio and New Mexico. She has practiced energy psychology in various modalities since 2009.

Being called to explore energy and spirituality more deeply, she has also studied with Native American medicine women, practiced mindfulness, holds certified training in Healing Touch levels 1-3, and obtained a Masters in Divinity from Eros Dei Dictum seminary.
